Can You Use R-32 in an R-454B Unit?

Using R-32 in an R-454B system is not only prohibited by law but also goes against manufacturer guidelines due to the distinct chemical makeup of each refrigerant. Unless the EPA has officially approved an alternative, R-32 should never be introduced into an R-454B unit, as doing so may result in serious equipment failure.
