The ACIQ-36-AHD air handler features a variable speed DC blower and communicating technology to maximize comfort and efficiency at the same time. Your thermostat communicates with the inverter condenser outside and the variable speed air handler inside, allowing the system to self-adjust BTU output to maximize efficiency while providing ideal comfort. The air handler efficiently distributes heated and cooled air throughout your home by seamlessly attaching to your existing ductwork.

Installation and Maintenance

Installation is very similar to installing any replacement air handler. Your technician will make electrical, refrigerant, thermostat, and communication connections. Plus, they will connect the air handler to your return and supply ductwork. The ACIQ central ducted air handler is multi-positional (upflow, downflow or horizontal), making it a very versatile air handler. Any 24v thermostat with 2 stages of heating can control the system. Supplemental electric heat kits are available as a backup heat source for the coldest days of the year. If any maintenance is required, the intelligent control board in the air handler displays fault codes in case any part of the system experiences issues.

Please note - in order to function, this air handler must be installed with a condenser and other installation equipment, available at an additional cost if not already included in this product bundle. To use straight electric heating, an electric heat kit is necessary and is also available at an additional cost.
